“Each rotation in the Leadership Development Program offers a unique challenge and a high level of responsibility. The development and lessons learned from each assignment are significant and go well beyond just functional knowledge and experience. Each assignment during the program challenge you to think strategically and critically about business opportunities and to successfully develop action plans and initiatives to address those challenges. In many cases, the program also gives you the opportunity to then lead those efforts and see the results of those initiatives and their impact on the business.
My expectations going in to the LDP were to drive business change and results, to gain exposure to all business units, and to develop my leadership skills. The LDP effectively delivered on all three aspects.
Looking back on my time in the Leadership Development Program, I can directly attribute my experience and development during the program to the style of business leadership I use today.
