PROSPER (Process Redesign for Organizational Speed, Profit, and Expense Reduction)

Led project team that reviewed and addressed open issues related to the transition of Integrity Life Insurance Company from Louisville to Cincinnati. The team performed an assessment of core processes within Integrity to determine those that could benefit from being reengineered or integrated within Annuity Operation business processes.
Led a cross-functional team including Integrity Marketing, Annuity Operations, Compliance, and other departments to perform a full review of Integrity’s marketing materials to ensure consistency in all customer communication materials.
Formed project team with other LDP Associates to evaluate the attractiveness of affinity marketing for Western & Southern Financial Group, explore partnerships with local professional associations, and assess potential joint ventures to deliver financial products to special interest groups. The project team made strategic and tactical recommendations to pursue these opportunities and is currently developing a formal business plan to identify viable affinity partners, propose an appropriate organizational design, and specify the necessary resources to commence implementation.


Columbus Life Insurance Company (7 months)
Led the preparation of a three-year recommended product line plan that took into account producer and consumer needs and emerging trends in the affluent market and benchmarked the firm’s current product portfolio with those of competitors in the industry.
Reviewed new product development and implementation process for Columbus Life Insurance Company and Western & Southern Financial Group to identify opportunities and areas of focus to improve speed-to-market.


Fort Washington Investment Advisors, Inc. (6 months)
Led project that performed outside research, evaluated internal resources and capabilities, and carried out the necessary business analysis to determine how Fort Washington Investment Advisors could distribute its various equity and fixed income strategies to smaller accounts utilizing Separately Managed Account (SMA) platforms.
Researched and evaluated several commingled fund vehicles that could be used for introducing new investment strategies for the company’s Fixed Income portfolios and allow the firm to offer different absolute return strategies to clients.
Led project team to evaluate two private equity investment opportunities for a State Government. Coordinated the preparation of the final reports and due diligence documentation for presentation to the State’s Private Equity Investment Committee.


The Western and Southern Life Insurance Company (7 months)
Conducted an assessment on the current status of the worksite distribution market that included opportunities, threats, competition, distribution channels, and products.
Evaluated Western-Southern Life’s internal capabilities in the context of worksite marketing in terms of strengths, challenges, prospecting, distribution, products, services, and technology.
Led the preparation of a strategic business plan providing the necessary details for Western & Southern Life to develop a profitable worksite marketing business.


Western & Southern Financial GroupComptroller (2 months)
Designed and developed a new Quarterly Investment Report to complement the investment section of the monthly report provided to the Board of Directors. The new report received approval from the Chief Executive, Chief Financial, and Chief Investment Officers.


Eagle Realty Group, LLC (7 months)
Led the preparation of the three-year strategic plan for Eagle Realty Group and reviewed the business plans for each of its departments. Conducted quantitative and qualitative analyses in order to determine optimal future positioning of Eagle Realty Group.
Assisted the Investment Management Department in its efforts to select and create products that could be offered to third-party investors.
Assisted in the direct sale of two multi-family residential properties in Florida, including analyzing purchase offers, negotiating sales contracts, and meeting with prospective buyers.
Prepared asset plans for a majority of the properties in Eagle Realty Group’s hospitality portfolio. Conducted analyses to forecast cash flows for various hotel properties and to value the overall hotel portfolio.
