Cincinnati's vibrant
downtown area offers an excellent social atmosphere for
singles and families. The city's attractions include the new, world-famous
Contemporary Arts Center and National Underground Railroad Freedom Center.
Cincinnati also boasts a renowned symphony orchestra, opera and ballet companies,
as well as theaters and museums of natural history and art. In addition,
 the Queen
City is home to the country's second-oldest zoo. Across the Ohio River, Newport Aquarium features underwater
tunnels to explore the wonders of marine life. Numerous events such as Party in the Park, Taste of
Cincinnati, Riverfest USA and Octoberfest ZinZinnati keep downtown dancing. North of the city, Paramount's Kings Island offers a variety of thrilling amusement park rides like Son of Beast.
Crowning the riverfront are the Cincinnati Reds professional
baseball team and the Cincinnati Bengals professional football team, both now playing in new,
state-of-the-art stadiums. The city also features two minor-league hockey teams and
more than 100 golf courses. During the month of August, we sponsor the annual
Western & Southern Financial Group Masters tennis series,
one of the 13 most prestigious tennis tournaments in the world.
