Conceived, developed and implemented a product management and development process for the Institutional Asset Management business. Engaged executive management to develop a roadmap for all steps, from strategic planning to market delivery. The program also included analysis tools for investment strategy due diligence, market opportunity, competitor and business capability assessment, and finally reporting scorecards and dashboards were designed to assist the product teams with making objective decisions. Implemented the process to make a go/no-go decision on the Private Placement strategy.
Analyzed three existing Institutional class strategies for commercialization. Investigated market opportunity, investment capabilities and process, client perceptions and behaviors– through client interviews – and distribution strategies. Presented recommendations, which were eventually implemented, to the executive product committee, which included the CEO.
Led a cross functional team from concept through implementation to deliver a best-in-class Web site. Architected the navigation and layout; worked with AVP of marketing and business unit representatives to develop content that aligned with the new branding and marketing strategy. Also worked with the design and IT teams to adopt the latest design and technical features.

Led the market rollout of Capital Transfer – a generational wealth transfer solution. Developed a rollout strategy and engaged a cross functional team, to identify and implement an integrated set of tactics under advertising, personal selling, public relations and sales promotion categories.
Conducted due diligence, and developed a business plan for product solutions addressing college savings, retirement and health care needs that would leverage the cash accumulation capability of a Universal Life Insurance product.
Led a consumer research initiative, in partnership with an external vendor to study consumer demographics, psychographics and behaviors towards wealth transfer and cash accumulation related financial solutions. Implemented an innovative BMR (Backward Market Research) process to ensure that the survey produces actionable information.

Conducted in-depth research of the Life Insurance industry and its competitive landscape. Worked closely with the President of W&S Agency to develop a presentation that incorporated the research. The presentation was subsequently delivered by the Agency President at the annual Executive Retreat.
Led the development and implementation of an Audit Process while working with the senior management and the Internal Audit team. The Audit plans comprised of detailed guidelines complete with a tool to measure and quantify risks, and identify high risk field offices needing follow up action.
Analyzed the performance of the field offices against the Quantum Leap model – a franchise model, implemented across Agency field offices. Identified relationships between productivity and a range of metrics from Sales Representative skill set to sales activities.
Developed, analyzed, and prioritized opportunities to substantially grow sales through the direct to consumer distribution channel. Engaged senior management to narrow down opportunities with the greatest potential, and subsequently crafted operational guidelines to implement these opportunities in partnership with a cross functional team.
