Served as Assistant Project Manager responsible for integrating two of the largest subsidiaries with a combined $12 billion in annuity assets under management.
Assisted in developing and delivering a disciplined integration plan for maintaining the profitability and stability of the merged subsidiary during the integration process while achieving target revenue and cost synergies.
Assisted in the management of integration activities by working closely with the Executive Steering Committee to navigate through planning, decision-making, and resource allocation processes.
Performed cost benefit, identifying the operational efficiencies and financial savings attributed to the integration.


Fort Washington Investment Advisors, Inc. (6 months)
Assisted portfolio managers in the refinement of the tactical risk allocation model and total return investment strategy.
Developed measurement tools to identify and isolate the credit, option, and liquidity risk factors in order to better manage investment risk relative to the benchmark and support active management of the total return portfolio.
Devised a project plan to increase the number of active bets taken by the portfolio manager and asset managers, which is expected to diversify the portfolio risk and reduce the volatility of returns.


Columbus Life Insurance Company (5 months)
Evaluated the profitability of Columbus Life Insurance Company's mature blocks of business and assessed the contribution to current and future earnings. Researched and analyzed the financial issues surrounding the policies.
Identified and proposed alternatives for managing the business, which balanced the interests of the policyholders and independent distribution channel.


Fort Washington Trust Company (4 months)
Developed the project plan to convert Western & Southern Financial Group’s $57 million in retained assets accounts into FDIC-insured accounts.
Acted as the project manager of the cross-functional implementation team responsible for the conversion.
Analyzed the current retained asset program processes, benchmarked industry standards, and identified opportunities for managing the program for greater profitability.

Analyzed the profitability of Western & Southern Financial Group's $210 million Floating Rate Funding Agreement Program and other alternatives to the existing program (i.e., Euro/GIC); presented findings and recommendations to the Finance Committee.
