W&S Financial Group Distributors Names Regional Vice President for Financial Institutions
Horton to lead annuity distribution through banks in Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee
Steven N. Horton has been named regional vice president for financial institutions at W&S Financial Group Distributors, Inc. (W&S Financial), the wholesale division for Western & Southern Financial Group (Western & Southern). Horton is charged with wholesale distribution of variable, fixed and immediate annuities and life insurance products from Western & Southern member companies through financial institutions in Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee. He will implement advanced wholesaling processes and create high-value relationships with key financial institutions.

Horton most recently served as field wholesaler/regional vice president for Pacific Life in Texas. There he oversaw wholesale distribution of variable and fixed annuities, mutual funds, 529 plans and retirement plans within Pacific Life’s financial institutions division.
Horton earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from Mississippi State University. He is a certified retirement counselor, certified mutual fund counselor, and holds a life and health insurance license as well as Series 6 and 63 securities licenses. He and his wife, Jennifer, live in Houston and have three children.
