Fort Washington CEO Named Among 2025 Women of the Year

Fort Washington •
Maribeth Rahe

Maribeth S. Rahe, president and chief executive officer of Fort Washington Investment Advisors, Inc. (Fort Washington), has been named one of the 2025 Women of the Year by the Cincinnati Enquirer and Cincinnati.com.

The award honors women who have made a meaningful and lasting impact on the Greater Cincinnati region through leadership, service and philanthropy.

“Maribeth has championed fundraising efforts for organizations like the Cincinnati Zoo, United Way and ArtsWave, while serving on more than a dozen nonprofit and corporate boards,” said John F. Barrett, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Western & Southern Financial Group, Fort Washington’s parent company. “Her commitment to uplifting others and strengthening the community is a powerful reflection of what it means to grow, lead, win, and do good for others.”

Rahe has led Fort Washington to unprecedented growth, paved the way for future leaders, and generously donated her time and resources to advance the quality of education, health care and the arts for so many in Cincinnati. Her leadership has not only shaped Fort Washington’s business success, but also helped instill a deep-rooted sense of purpose across the organization. Under her management, Fort Washington reflects the same community-focused values she embodies.

The Cincinnati Enquirer established the annual program in 1968 to “recognize area women who have supported philanthropic efforts and who have improved civic life through their investment of time, energy and their belief in helping others.” To date, more than 550 women have received the award over its 57-year history. Rahe is the first executive from Western & Southern Financial Group to receive this honor.
