Fort Washington Expands Institutional Business Development with Two New Hires

Evan Lyons and Erik Schonberg

Fort Washington Investment Advisors, Inc. has expanded its institutional business development presence into the Southwest and West Coast regions of the United States with the addition of Evan Lyons and Erik A. Schonberg as vice presidents, business development officers.

Lyons and Schonberg will lead Fort Washington’s institutional business development efforts across these new regions, helping the firm broaden its reach and build relationships with institutional investors and consultants.

“We are excited to welcome Evan and Erik to our business development team as we expand our presence into the Southwest and West Coast,” said Krista L. Rivers, managing director and head of business development. “Their extensive institutional investment experience, strong industry relationships and complementary backgrounds will be valuable as we introduce Fort Washington’s investment capabilities to new markets and continue to build relationships with institutional investors and consultants.”

Lyons joins Fort Washington with more than 20 years of institutional investment industry experience. Prior to joining the firm, he served as senior director within the institutional client group at Allspring Global Investments (formerly Wells Fargo Asset Management). Earlier in his career, he held institutional sales positions at Susquehanna International Group and Merrill Lynch.

Lyons earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications from East Carolina University. He resides in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Schonberg brings more than 25 years of institutional investment sales and consultant relations experience to Fort Washington. Prior to joining the firm, he served as managing director, consultant relations and institutional sales for Ballast Asset Management in Dallas. Previously, he was director of institutional sales at Barrow Hanley Global Investors. Earlier in his career, Schonberg held institutional sales leadership positions with Manning & Napier, Hartford Investment Management Company, John Hancock Advisers, Undiscovered Managers, LLC and Capital Resource Advisors (now Segal Marco).

Schonberg earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Accounting from Baylor University. He resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
