Fort Washington •
nicholas sargen book

Nicholas P. Sargen, chief economist and senior investment advisor for Western & Southern Financial Group and Fort Washington Investment Advisors, Inc., was recently nominated for the 2018 Financial Times and McKinsey Business Book of the Year Award for his book “Investing in the Trump Era: How Economic Policies Impact Financial Markets.”

Since 2005, the Financial Times and McKinsey Business Book of the Year Award has been recognizing top-notch business books that cover modern issues. The annual awards are judged by a panel of business people, writers and academics led by Financial Times Editor Lionel Barber.

Sargen’s book, which is set for release in late July, focuses on a variety of economic and market policy issues that the U.S. faces following the 2016 presidential election. This is Sargen’s second published work; “Global Shocks: An Investment Guide for Turbulent Markets” was released in 2016. In addition to authoring his published works and providing expert opinions for various news publications, Sargen is also a regular contributor to Focus: Separating News from Noise, a blog produced for Fort Washington’s website.

The winner of the Financial Times and McKinsey Business Book of the Year Award will be announced during a ceremony in London on November 12, 2018.
