Career
Mark Militello is a Vice President and Co-Portfolio Manager for the Small Company Equity investment strategy, where he is responsible for the investment process and portfolio construction.
Militello rejoined Fort Washington in 2026 after spending four years at Thrivent Asset Management, where he served as senior portfolio manager on the SMID Growth Equity team.
Previously, Militello joined Fort Washington in 2017 as part of the acquisition of Sentinel Group Funds by Fort Washington affiliate Touchstone Investments. He served as vice president and senior equity research manager for Sentinel from 2015 to 2017 and subsequently held the same role at Fort Washington from 2017 to 2022.
Earlier in his career, Militello served as senior research analyst, portfolio manager, and director of research at Weatherbie Capital, LLC. He was a co-lead portfolio manager for the Weatherbie Long/Short Fund and co-portfolio manager of the Weatherbie Specialized Growth Institutional Fund. Prior to Weatherbie, Militello was a research analyst at Paradigm Capital Management.

Militello earned both a BA and MA in Economics from the University of Connecticut. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
