CINCINNATI — March 2, 2015 — W&S Financial Group Distributors, Inc., wholesale distributor of annuities and life insurance from member companies of Western & Southern Financial Group (Western & Southern), today announced the launch of a new variable annuity living benefit rider, Guaranteed Lifetime Income Advantage (GLIA) Plus.
GLIA Plus is an optional guaranteed lifetime withdrawal benefit (GLWB) offered with AnnuiChoice® and Pinnacle variable annuities issued by Integrity Life Insurance Company (Integrity Life) and National Integrity Insurance Company (National Integrity Life).
“Sharp declines or prolonged market downturns can impact retirement security significantly,” said Mark E. Caner, president of W&S Financial Group Distributors. “GLIA Plus can help protect against market volatility while also offering investment growth potential and guaranteed lifetime income.”
In 2008, Integrity Life and National Integrity Life launched Guaranteed Lifetime Income Advantage (GLIA), another guaranteed lifetime withdrawal benefit. It too remains available with AnnuiChoice® and Pinnacle.
“Both GLIA and now GLIA Plus allow a measure of control over how assets are allocated and provide access to predictable, sustainable income for life,” Caner said. “Offering these options advances our mission of helping Americans invest, protect and manage risk for their retirement and legacy.”
The optional GLWB riders are intended to provide a minimum guaranteed income stream. They are available at issue for an added annual charge. Issue age, asset allocation and withdrawal restrictions apply. Availability and features may vary by state. Consult with a financial professional and carefully consider features, restrictions, costs and operation of a rider before purchase.

Payment of benefits under the annuity contract is the obligation of, and is guaranteed by, the insurance company issuing the annuity. Guarantees are based on the claims-paying ability of the insurer. Variable annuities are tax-deferred insurance products. If you are investing through a tax-advantaged plan (such as an IRA or 401(k) rollover), you will receive no additional tax advantage or deferral from the annuity.
There is no guarantee of the investment performance or safety of the variable investment options of a variable annuity. Investment return and principal value of an investment in a variable annuity will fluctuate, so units, when redeemed may be worth more or less than their original cost.
