The Sophisticated Giving Cincinnati Charity Register 2019, with help from presenting sponsor Western & Southern Financial Group (Western & Southern), was revealed at a cocktail reception on March 6 at the Cincinnati Art Museum. Western & Southern Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer John F. Barrett described the importance of the register and reasons for supporting it in his remarks at the reception and in a letter included in the register.

From the Presenting Sponsor

For more than 130 years, our company has worked hard to fulfill the vision our founders set forth when they started our wonderful company – “a human institution serving human needs.” Western & Southern Financial Group is dedicated to doing our part to make Cincinnati a great community in which to live, do business and enjoy life.

Integral to this vision is our commitment to supporting Cincinnati’s nonprofit community through sponsorships, charitable donations and contributions totaling more than $50 million over the last five years alone. Through our financial and volunteer support, we strive not only to strengthen the social fabric of our community but to inspire other companies, individuals and business leaders to do their part for our community.

Fort Washington Investment Advisors, Inc., our investment arm and Cincinnati’s largest money management firm according to the Cincinnati Business Courier’s most recent survey, plays a vital role in helping others understand how they, too, can help make a difference. Through its Private Client Group, the firm helps individuals and families build and share their wealth across our community. They work closely with clients to develop philanthropic giving strategies as part of a comprehensive approach to wealth management.

The Sophisticated Giving Cincinnati Charity Register is a valuable resource to start that conversation and one that we hope many in our community will draw upon to learn more about the incredible nonprofit organizations that are helping make Cincinnati the best city in America.
