A longstanding supporter of local cancer research and care, Western & Southern is once again demonstrating its commitment through its sponsorship and participation in Ride Cincinnati, the region’s leading cycling event in the fight against cancer.

Since its inception in 2007, Western & Southern and its associates have actively engaged in Ride Cincinnati’s efforts by volunteering, fundraising and riding. This year, the company is showing up stronger than ever with its largest team ever – made up of more than 260 registered riders.

Over the past 18 years, Ride Cincinnati has raised more than $8.8 million for cancer research and care in the Greater Cincinnati region. This year, through a new partnership with the Cincinnati Cancer Foundation (CCF), Ride Cincinnati will extend its reach, funding local hospitals, nonprofits and community programs that are making a difference in the lives of cancer patients and their families.

The new approach will help Ride Cincinnati reach more patients across more parts of the community, aligning closely with Western & Southern’s enduring efforts to being somewhere to grow, lead, win and do good for others – both inside the organization and out in the community.

This year’s Ride Cincinnati event will be held on Saturday, Sept. 13, with several enhancements including new routes fully closed to traffic, live music, food and fun for riders and spectators.
