Western & Southern Financial Group (Western & Southern) and its Talent Development team are among only 59 organizations across 120 countries to win the 2019 ATD BEST Award. The team ranked 53 and received the award at the Learn from the BEST Conference and BEST Awards Dinner and Ceremony in Washington, D.C., on Oct. 3.
The award recognizes organizations that demonstrate enterprise-wide success as a result of associate talent development. In a detailed application, Western & Southern demonstrated excellence in multiple aspects of talent development as well as the ability to get results by using talent development as a strategic business tool. The judges evaluated the extent to which:
- Talent development has an enterprise-wide role.
- Learning has value in the organization's culture.
- Learning links to individual and organizational performance.
- Investment is made in talent development and performance initiatives.
ATD is a worldwide organization for the professionals who help others achieve their full potential by improving their knowledge, skills and abilities in the workplace.
