Hi, my name is Justin Stewart. I work in the Internal Audit Department. I'm a Senior Manager, and I’ve been with Western & Southern for about eight years now.
Western & Southern allows me to take opportunities. You know, we have all these different subsidiaries, all these different companies. So, there's that built in opportunity. But they also allow me to take opportunities to stretch myself, to grow myself, to lead in other areas. But the key is they don't just give the opportunity, it's supported opportunity. It’s, "Hey, go take that risk. We’ve got your back.” You know? "We want you to go try that new thing. We're going to give you the support you need to be successful."
They've allowed me, specifically, to partner with Northern Kentucky University. They’re a great regional partner and we have a lot of good, talented students that come into the company and stay long-term from that school. So, through my leading interns and things like that I've really helped foster a strong connection between the companies. And that's just led, not only to Western & Southern having a really positive image over there on campus, but also a good pipeline of talent coming into us. And it's really brought me into this whole new version of myself where I can kind of lead and mentor and help develop others in a way I never would have had the opportunity to otherwise.
