Building a Strong Community

Our partnership with the United Way of Greater Cincinnati spans several decades, and since 2020 we have pledged more than $7.8 million. Our longstanding commitment has helped make a positive change in our communities and provide resources to those struggling to make ends meet.

Embracing the Spirit of Giving

Each December, Western & Southern associates participate in The Salvation Army’s Adopt-A-Family and Adopt-A-Senior programs.

In 2025, associates adopted 44 families and 46 seniors — an all-time high.

We also collect gently used mobile devices for Cell Phones for Soldiers, an organization providing troops and veterans with free communication and emergency services. In 2025, we helped supply troops and veterans with calling cards worth approximately 29,250 minutes.
