Western & Southern Life has been recognized as a 2026 “Top 10” Military Friendly® Employer. This marks the 14th consecutive year Western & Southern Life has earned the Military Friendly® Employer designation, underscoring the company’s continued commitment to hiring and supporting veterans and military spouses.
Western & Southern Life was also named a “Top 10” Military Friendly® Spouse Employer for the 12th year in a row.
Over 1,200 companies participated in the 2026 Military Friendly® survey. Organizations earning the Military Friendly® Employer designation were evaluated using both public data sources and proprietary survey responses.

With more than 100 offices across the United States, Western & Southern Life’s field agent sales force provides middle-income Americans with access to life insurance, annuities, investments and retirement strategies.
Methodology, criteria, and weightings were determined by Military Friendly® in consultation with the Military Friendly® Advisory Council, a group of independent leaders in the military recruitment community. Final ratings were determined by combining an organization’s survey score with an assessment of the organization’s ability to meet and exceed thresholds for Recruitment, New Hire Retention, Employee Turnover and Promotion & Advancement of veterans and military employees.
